Advertised price reality

A headline price is an example, not a promise.

An ad may show a small daily price or say “no exam.” That does not mean every person receives that price. Age, state, coverage, product rules, tobacco use, health history, and medication information can change the options and cost.

Why I teach this

My goal is to make misleading insurance advertising easier to recognize and to model a clearer sales conversation. I explain the limits, disclose how I may be paid, and compare only the options I am licensed and authorized to offer. I do not represent every company, and the decision to continue is yours.

See how health information is reviewed
01

No exam does not mean no underwriting.

Underwriting is the insurance company’s review of an application to decide whether to offer a policy and, if so, the coverage and price it can offer. Some applications use health questions and authorized data checks even when no physical exam is required.

02

Official information can lead to follow-up questions.

A past diagnosis or prescription can matter even when your current experience feels different. It does not decide the outcome by itself; the insurance company reviews the full application under its current rules.

Family protection foundation

Coverage starts with a job, not a product name.

Term, permanent, final-expense, and supplemental policies solve different problems. Begin with the consequence your household wants to manage.

01

Who depends on what you provide?

Include income and unpaid work such as care, transportation, household management, and time.

02

Which obligations end, and when?

Mortgage, education, child care, debt, and working years may have different time horizons.

03

What must remain affordable?

A policy should fit your budget so you can keep the coverage in place.

04

What already exists?

Employer coverage, individual policies, savings, benefits, and family resources change the gap.

Questions worth asking early

Short answers, grouped by what you are trying to do.

Planning privately

Does Plan send or save my answers?

No. Plan keeps the numbers only while the page is open. It does not send them, save them for a reload, or transfer them to Contact. If you print or save the result, your device creates the copy you control.

Why does Plan not show a monthly price?

Plan estimates a one-time possible coverage need, not a premium. The separate private estimator shows a monthly range only when current, authorized rate and underwriting data supports the state, age, coverage amount, and answers entered. If a required source is missing, expired, or unclear, it shows no price instead of guessing.

Applying for coverage

Can this site tell me what I qualify for?

Not by itself. I can help you understand the options and prepare for the application, but the carrier decides eligibility, pricing, issue class, and approval through underwriting.

Can I use this for a parent or spouse?

Yes. I can help you and your parent or spouse prepare for the conversation together. The person being insured still needs to participate and give consent.

Working with me

Can you offer every insurance company or product?

No. I can discuss only options I am currently licensed and authorized to offer in your state. I will confirm those details before I explain or recommend anything.

How can I verify your license?

Select your state abbreviation wherever my license roster appears. It opens the matching Trust record with my name, NPN, state record number, status, authority, dates, and dated public source already organized for you. You do not have to repeat the regulator search.

Editorial standard

Every important claim needs a date, source, and limitation.

Survey results describe respondents. Carrier pages describe specific products. Model regulations are not automatically state law. None of those sources predicts an individual outcome.
